INTRODUCING

TURTLE TOWER

We've invented an innovative solution designed to help more turtles safely get to sea.

The Turtle Tower® prototype has been launched as of June 2020.

Turtle Tower, our patent-pending technology, has been designed to non-invasively monitor endangered sea turtle egg incubation in their natural habitats and alert caretakers in the event of predation, hatching, and/or the hatchlings exiting the nest. When alerted, the caretaker can then take the appropriate steps to ensure the safety of the sea turtles.

Our technology consists of an electronics sensor assembly enclosure, fastened appropriately above the sea turtle nest, and is powered by a stand-alone battery pack and a solar charger. Turtle Tower also utilizes UWB-IR, IR Video, IR Thermal, GPS and Motion, which enables it to automatically gather and store sensory data. Ultimately, this data will drive the detecting and signaling of nest predation, egg hatching, and nest evacuation.
